This was on our first day in Puebla. Maria was great at pointing out the details and history of the church.

This is a massive church. Some stories say this was supposed to be Mexico City's cathedral and the construction plans were mixed up in the trip from Spain, but who knows, might just be a tale. The church is worth a visit. Very high ceilings and an amazing musical instrument.

I am really not one for churches and cathedrals but this one is absolutely stunning, probably the most amazing I've ever seen. Being there was very calming and enjoyable and if some guy hasn't came and sat unnecessarily... More

Beautiful church with lots of history. Definitely worth stopping inside and checking out the architecture. You might even be able to see a mass.

We attended Palm Sunday Mass at the Cathedral, presided over by the Archbishop of Puebla. Everyone was friendly, happy and very helpful (we don't speak Spanish at all well). A very positive experience

I just happened to visit on Easter weekend and this church was brimming with activity! Such a pretty place to visit in the city and lots of nice architecture in the building. It sits in the main square Pandora there is a super ton lot of things to do around it. Great place to visit!

The outside is very austere, the main door is facing the plaza , once you go inside, a 43 mts roof hangs over you, full of frescos, and a beautiful altar right in the middle of the cathedral is in front of you, right across the organ is huge! The church is very well preserved and has touristic information in... More
