The Capilla del Rosario is located inside the Santo Domingo Church, which was built by a Dominican priest. The church was classified as the Eighth wonder of the world upon it's completion in 1690.. There are several mini tours in Spanish each hour.

Gorgeous!!! Plain and simple. Beautifully executed, very well curated. A must if you visit Puebla. Don't miss it, you won't regret!

The most sumptuous place of worship I have ever seen. The amount of gold used is incredible. This is Mexican Baroque splendor at its finest. Capilla del Rosario should be on your list to see when you are in Puebla.

The Rosary Chapel took my breath away. Definitely make it a stop on your walk through the historic centre - it doesn't take long to pop in and have a look.

Visited the chapel with a tour guide--very helpful in understanding the Catholic iconography. Given the more austere exterior, the interior seems even more dramatic.

This chapel is quite spectacular and well worth seeing. The amount of gold is amazing, and this historical church makes an unforgettable impression.

There are many churches / chapels/ cathedrals in Puebla and we went into quite a few! We visited this whilst on a walking tour of the town. It is extremely ornate and our guide explained the history and meaning of all the decorations.

Our tour guide brought us here after a short walk. From the outside, you'll see an old church, nothing fancy. But inside, the place is amazing. The main church altar has life-sized statues of saints, and in the Rosary chapel the design is so magnificent....More

This is a church with gold on the walls and in the paintings, very impressive, in the city center of Puebla.
