If you are a foreigner you might be a little dissapointed.

As a Mexican living in USA I found the place acceptable and the prices are OK. Don't expect nothing fancy.

Wonderful place to spend the day. Take the bus from Zihuatanejo or Ixtapa to Playa Linda. Get off and admire the crocodiles. Walk across the beach to the dock and purchase a ticket to go to the Island. It is close enough to see clearly from shore. The panga boats go back and forth all day until 5? or 6?.... More

We went for lunch to restaurant Luilui (or something close to it) and Tony provided wonderful and warm service throughout our stay. Great waiter!!! I ordered a shrimp cocktail and my dad ordered coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp were DELICIOUS. But instead of my shrimp cocktail, I was given shrimp tacos. I didn't want to make a big deal of... The island is pretty much 2 beaches - 1 is for swimming (where the boat lands) and 2 is for snorkeling (walk right across through the restaurants). We went to 2, picked ay of the restaurants, that give you a base for your stuff and you go: We rented snorkel gear (they all rent it and they are all about... More

We spent the day there but the beach is on such an angle its hard to get comfortable in your chair without sliding out, the beach is a bit rocky. We still had fun but don't set the expectations too high.
