This is a huge park, great to go cycling, running or walking. Lots of vendors in case you get hungry or thirsty. A family environment.

Our Trip to San Luis Potosi began in Mexico City where we took a bus (ETN Buses - inexpensive, SAFE and EXTREMELY comfortable, with touch screen tv with movies and games. We took the bus at midnight and arrived at 5:30 am) We took a local bus down town and we walked to through the city awaiting for business to... More

I stay next door to the park so visit it regularly. It is a massive green oasis in a city of concrete in an arid region. Cyclists, runners, family's having barbecues mingle with the wildlife. As a bird watcher this park should be on any fellow birders itinerary if you visit central Mexico. Many exotic flycatchers, egrets and cormorants. Plus... More

This park is huge. My husband and I came here for a place to walk on a Sunday late morning. There are also places where a person can rent a bicycles to tool around on the flat roads, bring a mountain bike or 4 wheeler, play fútbol, feed ducks, fly your RC planes... There are picnic tables and barbecue grills... More

"Parque Tangamanga" is a big part of San Luis Potosi, crowded during the weekends but plenty of parking and space for everyone. There's bike rentals, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, archery, tracks for quad motorcycles, motocross, etc etc etc Bathrooms and trashcans just about everywhere, police presence inside the park so obey the speeding limit. Great place to visit, kill time,... More

If you want to run, read, relax, walk, play, talk, swim, ride a bicycle or eat you should definitely go to Tangamanga Park, it's free, clean and green. A must go when you are in San Luis Potosi.

Very beautiful park !!! Fantastic for you and your family !!! Several areas where you can make your own barbecue or picnic! Perfect for meditation, sports, exercises or just to be connected with the nature. The only negative is you can not bring your dog.

Nice relaxing atmosphere for a walk or run, excellent for children to play any sport, museum available for entertainment. If I'm location worth the visit.
