I dove with Eli from Prov Dive on 4 dives last Spring. She and the shop were wonderful including handling many gear mishaps. I'm, going again this Spring and I can't wait.

Found these guys here on Trip Advisor. They had great rates and were rated number one in Puerto Aventuras for diving. That rating is well earned. I completed three PADI courses over the course of a week with them: Rescue Diver, Emergency O2 provider and...More

Wife and I did the snorkle trip with turtles and cenotes. We ended up only having four people do it all and it was better than we imagined. Saw many green sea turtles, sting Ray, squid and plenty of other fish. The cenote was beautiful...More

The dive centre could not be more helpful. the Cenote diving and Cozemul trips are excellent, but a little time consuming. the local reefs are not the best in the world, but the trips are worth while. generally a good experience.

Hello Jake, in the end it will depend if you buy just a single tank, or a package which makes each dive more economic and then what kind of package. Then it depends if you dive Cozumel or Riviera Maya as prizes may differ... More

Just a comment about the Dolphins - I discussed the subject at length with my instructor who tells me she has to walk through there every day and hates that walk with a passion. She informed me that this particular "Dolphin Prison" - as she put it so well - has seen much reduced interest from the public - a happy result of increased public awareness and movies like "The Cove" - to a point where the operators are looking at closing it down permanently. You see these Dolphin Prison Complexes all over the place between Cancun airport and Puerto Aventuras - I highly encourage everyone to ignore your kids requests to swim with the dolphins - the less money we inject into this subsection of the economy, the sooner they will be a thing of the past - it's already starting to happen! Don't think like "hey, it's already there, it's not going to hurt anyone to go visit". It does. It hurts all of the dolphins that are being raided out of their natural habitats and enslaved and imprisoned in these places for our "enjoyment". Instead, go on a catamaran cruise in the open ocean and watch the dolphins swim in their own home! Oh and don't blame the dive centers and their staff for these horrid examples of human culture - I would say 99.999% of them are against them with a passion - they are for the most part true ambassadors of the underwater world.

Totally agree. My diving instructor was so passionately against keeping dolphins in captivity (or any animal for that matter). The diving instructors and dive shops care passionately about the oceans. These... More
