Elafonisssi Beach is a must see! Crystal clear water, pristine beaches! Drawbacks rental chairs and umbrellas is a must about 8 euros. There is really only a couple of snack/ cafe bars for over 10,000 people. Bring your own food and drink is suggested. Plan...More

Elafonissi is a beautiful place with lovely colours in the water and fine sand - but it is simply overwhelmed with visitors. We went late in the day expecting it to have quietened down a bit - but it was still very very busy. Driving...More

I had read about this place and seen all the photos and hype that it was Crete's number 1 beach but was so disappointed when we got there. It was a long drive from Chania but the trip there was stunning. But I have never...More

Lovely beach - very little amount of sunbeds - only two little huts for food and water and getting out when lots of people want to leave at the same time is a bit tricky. However... CLEAR BLUE WATER! Must visit!

Clean, ordered, cheap prices for water, food and sunbeds. The beach isn't as pink as the pictures show but seriously go.
