Probably the best place to see the history of Durango. Interesting exhibits trace the history of the state and city. Make sure you take a guide. They will give you a much better experience than trying to understand everything on your own.

This museum is well worth visiting. It has some very nice displays. It's one of my favorite museums to visit.

They had all the placards in English as well as Spanish which was helpful. Showed a lot about the area.

This is a very nice museum. Unfortunately we got there 20 minutes before they were to close. The people who work here are very helpful and we saw as much as we could. Sadly, there was just so little time.

Although not a large museum, there was a lot of history in there. Our guide was knowledgable, and spoke good english.
