What a treat here in the "Athens" of Mexico. Beautiful facility, parking nearby, excellent content... worth a day!

Este museo no solamente refleja una parte importante del pasado de Veracruz porque muestra importantes piezas de las culturas que ahí habitaron, sino que la arquitectura del lugar es muy bella. Lo único que faltó fue que vendieran una guía del museo. Estaban agotadas. Fuera...More

Great place for Ancient-Mexico history buffs. The displays are excellent and the interior of the museum is impressive. My favorite objects were the colossal heads made by the Olmecas.

The building itself is an experience. Some of the exhibits are unlike any I've seen elsewhere. They are more varied and compelling than I saw in Mexico City.

An intellectual place to wonder around and see the true Mexican culture of the past. The biggest museum in latin America about the Toltec culture with original pieces of art.

Very professional and well laid out museum. Just the right size for non-museum buffs. Nice grounds too to walk through when the exhibits are done. Not too far from the Centro. Artifacts from 1,000 BC! Really interesting.
