The beach was ok but the water was very brown. The bar staff served drinks all the time. the kids were very noisy and I did not find this peaceful to come and rest.

Beach had pebbles not very good for walking on.You can only walk so far and then have to turn back not as nice as Caribbean side .

We saw a pod of Dolphins swimming here during our trip and newly hatched Turtles released back to the ocean by the charity involved in saving them ...amazing beach

Banderas Bay offers a long, uninterrupted beach for a walk. The water when we were there (August) was warm and quite mild. The beach itself isn't all that pretty and the water can be murky after a rain storm.

The beach is clean . It has a lot of surf that is fun and not to rough. Great for body surfing . And I got to Para sail.

Never did I think that I would love a place so much. I can't wait to come back. Had such a great time here.

Very nice beaches. The place is a bit away from Puerto Vallarta and not with a lot of crowd. So if you are planning for a relaxing atmosphere , this is the place

Lovely beach in a quiet part not too far from Puerto Vallarta. The sea was fun with quite large waves. We saw some of the best sunsets ever from the beach. There were beach vendors selling stuff and it was quite fun to barter with...More

Warm waters and gentle waves. Long walk over hot sand to the beach, but always worth it. No trash. No seaweed. Sid in the shallow water and dig into the sand for fistfuls of sand dollars.

Lovely sandy beach, good for a morning or night time walk. Sea is warm with strong currents, hence not very clear water. We were here in August and were lucky enough to see turtles nesting. Best time to see them is 2am - 6am.

I've walked at night with friends and never felt unsafe. That said we have been advised by locals not to walk at night and to take cabs which are safer.

We've snorkeled at Los Caletas and Marietas Island on tours. They were OK. Not as spectacular as Hawaii or other areas we've snorkeled, but the water is clear and you can see fish and rock formations.
