Nice view of reservoir and river not of dam. Good place for campers with quads in summer. It's 22kms from Nordegg, Alberta.

This is our favourite camping spot...We love to pack up the trailer, bikes/quads, and the kids and leave the city life behind us. The trails are well maintained, the views are amazing (they are what convinced me to let my husband buy me a quad). We enjoy going out as often as we can all they way up to Thanksgiving... More

Bighorn is a great destination for day trips or overnights, if you have the right kind of rig - no hookups, bathrooms or service of any kind. But amazing views, well maintained quad trails. On a long weekend try to get out there by Thursday night or you won't get a great spot. We always park up by the lake,... More
