We were surprised to find such a beautiful facility at the top of the gondola. There are four floors to explore, interesting movies and interactive displays. Boardwalk amongst the pine trees out to another viewing area. Bistro and cafeteria. We spent over two hours up there. Highly recommended!!

We purchased the Sky Bistro dining package and it was terrible. Food was very average. Gratuity was included (but not mentioned anywhere) so the service was poor. We added a desert, but were charged for the appetizer because it was costlier than the desert. Manager Kira was very unprofessional. Way overpriced!!

The gondola trip is pricey, but the views are worth it! We went on a mostly clear day in the late afternoon. We hiked the boardwalk to the old weather station and enjoyed the film and exhibits in the center. We had a snack and wine from the cafeteria while enjoying the views and then headed back outside to see... More

Going up is expensive. But if you hike up, going down is free. Good view up there. Best place to see the whole town.

The Banff Goldola was more expensive than I expected - about $51 Canadian per adult - but wow, the views were worth it! I recommend walking the boardwalk up to Sanson's Peak, it is just stunning in every direction.

My first time on the gondola. I found it breath taking. Trails are amazing. Make sure to dress warm it's cold up in the mountains. The scenery is beautiful. I recommend to visit here.

Went up with two of my girlfriends visiting to check out the views without hiking for them. The new scenic centre is amazing compared to what was there before. Worth the money for anyone who isn't apt on hiking but would love to see mountain tops. The restaurant is awesome - the food is decent but the ceasers and the... More

Well worth doing but make sure you get a sunny day. They offer a 2 course lunch in the restaurant at the top for an extra 15 dollars each, we didn't know about this or we would definitely have paid the extra.

Great value, lots to see and do. Restaurant good value, lovely walk to another mountain top. Christmas Carol singers made it extra special as did Father Christmas and the fun activities for the children

The ride up was pretty awesome, not too slow or too fast. The view at the top is amazing and Hut definitely gives a bit of history. There were guides up there as well which told you about to local animals, loved that. Got to touch a fake bear paw and it was massive! Definitely come up here again and... More
