This was a nice little hike to see the Hoodoos. The trail was easy to find. We even saw a deer drinking from the river.

It's an interesting spot with cool history about how they built train tracks across such steep slopes. It's definitely best if a train is on the track so you can see how impressive it is. It's a nice spot on a drive up to other...More
Couple of parking lots. On a sunny clear day, it's a beautiful little walk. Vantage point to see the Hoodoos, river and mountain range. Pretty spring flowers blossoming as well. Not a difficult walk along well marked paths, but can get steep in places, if...More
This is a nice little loop around the top of tunnel mountain. Sometimes we see wildlife but the weather was bad yesterday so we didn't see anything. You must stop at the Hoodoos and take in the awesome scenery, when the weather is nice :D
The place offers some nice views but not unique. Not worth walking or hike. Drive is not too long. Can be visited once in a while.
Unless you absolutely need a hike make sure to see this site by car. The views are one of a kind. Road is about 7 km round trip from Banff centre.

This should be part of a Banff stay. We took this drive as part of a app guided tour that we downloaded. This was a highlight of the tour if you are a low activity traveler ( we don't hike much). I also highly recommend...More
The place is so beautiful! You'll see the mooses and bears. The landscape is surreal!! There are glaciers a lot, there are forests that decorate the mountains, rivers and lakes with blue waters. Is fantastic!!
