For someone who loves shopping and browsing this is a great spot! There is something for everyone and so many unique little shops. Might not have been my husband's favourite part of our trip but I loved it!

This lacks the history and nature hike experience. But it has every conceivable type of shopper experience from ice cream and fudge to luxury art pieces and clothing. It is easy to end up spending a few hours walking down the stores on this street.

Love to stroll Banff Avenue. The shops are unique and welcoming and the mountain views are wonderful. Lots of places to stop in and have a meal or just a coffee.

If I remember rightly it is not far at all. Definitely walking distance.
