Simply a great street in the center of town. Full of shops, restaurants, tourist activities.loved the crosswalks-wish everywhere would stop traffic in all directions so you can cross the street in every direction. Love this town-quaint and friendly.

After arriving at our hotel in Bannf we took a walk down Bannf Avenue. The amount of Gift Shops, Restaurants and Hotels are anazing.

I’ve never been so excited to park a car and visit. Walking and trying different dinners, art gallery’s, gift shops for all ages. You have witness this.

Beautiful town surrounded by mountains. Lots of businesses and restaurants catering to tourists. Wildlife nearby. Not far from hiking trails, cross country ski trails, and downhill skiing.

I would stay downtown.as for how many days it depends on what you like to do. We spent 2 days there and could have easily stayed longer. It was not busy when we went in early May so it was easy to get around. If you go... More

Depends on the wind. When we were there, no smoke in Banff, although the mountains were obscured.

Tunnel mountain is not too far from downtown...but not super close either....
