This ride is approximately 50km but is mostly flat and easy terrain. We hired bikes for the day to complete this trail and it was well worth it! The views around lake vermillion are amazing! A must do!!!

We hire bikes from Rebound Cycles in Canmore and cycled the 12 miles along Legacy trail to Banff. Although a bit noisy from freeway traffic, the spectacular scenery just dominates your view and thoughts. A bear had been spotted on trail a few days earlier...More

No the grade is actually very easy there are a couple of hills but they are of the short steep variety. The trail was made for the average cyclist
