This is a beautiful waterfall just outside the town of Banff. It can be viewed from the roadway or you can hike up to it. Apparently ice climbing of the falls is possible.

You can't miss the waterfall driving from Canmore to Banff. It is a tall, free falling waterfall. If you have time, take the hike to the waterfall. Moderate hike is rewarded with being at the base of the falls!

This is a reasonable 20 minute walk. If water level is low, walk along the water's edge most of the way and take the shaded trail back. Much to see along the way. Great views of the lake from higher up at points.

This is RIGHT off of the TransCanada Hwy at the exit for Banff. Easy hike, but it is a little steep. Great view of the mountains all around , and a nice waterfall to see. Nice way to spend 1 hour.

Beautiful fall which surely must have a large volume during summers when more snow melts. I imagine it would be a lot of fun to visit during peak summers.
