Lots of good photos at these falls. Take the raft down this river for a very pleasant and scenic ride.

Right in the town of Banff you can sit on benches to view the thundering falls and the Bow river. Easy access by car for free parking.

This is an enjoyable walk from downtown Banff. We walked it in the rain and it was a bit mucky but with the right footwear on it is fine. You can hear the falls before you see them. There are much larger waterfalls to see...More

Whole area is wonderful. These falls are good to see but not as impressive as others in the area. As with a lot of tourist spots it depends if you are there at the same time as several coaches.

These falls are beautiful but are accessible by car (they are beside the parking lot) so they are busy and noisy. If you aren’t in the mood for a hike, check them out...but there are equally (more so)grand falls to visit without the crowds.

The trick with everything in Banff, especially during the busy summer months is to GO EARLY. It's a little bit of a walk, on a very easy and well maintained path, to the falls area. If you head in that direction in the early morning,...More

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
