Easy walk and not that long so elderly and handicapped have great access. incredible ice formations in winter. Does not feel like your in the center of Banff town but more like just in the mountains and river valley.

The falls were frozen over on our visit, but that just added to the beauty of bow falls. Picture perfect place to see the falls and mountains. A must visit in Banff ❤️🇨🇦

Fantastic when frozen solid. Worth the snowy decent which was fun. A nice place for a picnic. A must see winter or summer

The Bow Falls are not Niagara Falls but still a nice outing. Far better in the summer time when they aren't totally frozen but still interesting in winter.

Worth a look at this beautiful waterfall that many people gather to photograph. You can walk here after crossing the Bow river bridge near the Cascade Gardens in Banff.

Beautiful scenery, we were lucky enough to see some moose hanging about in the late afternoon, the falls are a fantastic attraction and absolutely breath taking.

The Bow Falls look more like rapids to me, but they're still a lot of fun to see. In fact, this was one of the first places my partner and I stopped during our visit to Banff. We were staying at the Fairmont Banff Springs...More

Lovely long walk from centre of town to falls, with views of Banff Springs hotel on one side and the water on the other. If you are walking from town, keep in mind, it's a bit of hike, with staircases along the trail. There is...More

Unlike the Fairmont Banff Springs, the Rimrock is not within easy walking distance to a river or stream. People do a lot of fly fishing inside the city limits of Calgary, and for those spots, you really just have to look... More

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
