One of Banffs many easily accessible sites. Gorgeous roaring falls and comfortable drive up viewing.

Not only are there fantastic views of the waterfall but also the river and the Fairmont. You can either take a leisurely walk here or park nearby and roam around. The falls are beautiful as is the entire area. Better if you can avoid the...More

When traveling to Lake Louise from our hotel in Bannf, we stopped at Bow Falls and were very impressed by the site of the rushing waters of the 'Falls'

Wonderful trip to Bow Falls, quite the sight to see. Just one of the many fantastic waterfalls in the area.

The power of the water is awesome following the snow melt. Well worth seeing and probably best avoiding walking there unless you are a fitness fanatic.

The Spring melt really makes these falls roar! What a spectacular waterfall. Love it. Highly recommended.

If you are in Banff it is one of the things to see together with the lake and maybe a trip to the glacier and ride in a snow wagon.

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
