You can walk and take a lot of photos and a place is very beautiful. And not a long walk is perfect to relax

We were driving around the area to check things out. We happened upon Bow Falls and got out to take some beautiful pictures. The falls are within walking distance of the town. They feed into the Bow River and Spray River junction. The falls are...More

A nice waterfall and viewpoint not far from town worth a wander! If it is big waterfalls and drama you like then head to Johnstone canyon! Only marked ‘average’ as everything around here is amazing! It’s a nice spot.

A very enjoyable (easy) walk from Banff along a gravel path next to the river Bow. We went early in the early afternoon & it was not too crowded. There were benches along the way where you could sit and take in the views and...More

Easy to access and view just down from downtown Banff and just below the Fairmont Hotel. Quite beautiful and stunning.

Nice walk along the river. We did it from the « city side » (banff surprise corner). You are at the top of the hill, above falls and river, quite behind the trees. A view on the Fairmont, and the river. But very few on the falls,...More

Compared with the other views in Banff this one is disappointing. It's rather small and really not worth the time to visit.

This is a lovely little spot which is very easy to access from the town. It’s just a short walk down from the road bridge and has come great views over the falls. It’s not a classic waterfall as such more a set of rapids...More

Drive through the town of Banff to access Bow Falls. Not a very high falls but fairly wide. I'm a waterfall enthusiast so added to my list. Worth the drive.

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
