Got there late in the day about an hour before dark...the path was treacherous with snow and ice to get there from parking lot...was easier walking the road back to parking lot...such a beautiful spot

Peyto lake is a must visit place . The view is really amazing. A short hike and follow the trail to see the spectacular view of the lake.

You certainly can't complain about the scenery when visiting Canada! Peyto Lake is another example of the spectacular! A short walk from the carpark (then go left at the lookout) the view is incredible and you can avoid most of the crowds.

This is the most beautiful place to visit we would have hated to have missed this experience. So lucky to have the photos to relive this visit over and over again.

yes, parking does fill up - but since this is just a short hike there is constant people coming and going so you will find a parking spot.

Peyto lake is a short walk from the parking lot. There are no other trails around Peyto.
