There's nothing like Moraine Lake. Lake Louise almost pales in comparison to this lake in my opinion. This could be due to the time of year that I came. The melting snow truly makes this a majestic sight to see. Must see!

Beautiful, but recommend looking ahead to see if everything is open if that's something you're interested in. This was our last stop on our trip so we were planning on making it short anyways but didn't realize the shops etc were closed even though Lake...More

I like this lake more than Lake Louise. It is less commercialized and the view is incredible. Take the short 1/2 mile hike up the rockpile for a great perspective.

It was a little difficult getting to the edge of the lake as there were a lot off trees that had washed down and blocked access. There is very little open water right now. There was still more snow along the road than I expected...More

One of the most beautiful places on earth. The waters are so blue and the mountains are so regal. I see a lot of photo enhancements done to the lake on travel blogs but they are not necessary- it stands up to the hype.

It's so nice to see where the picture on the old 20 dollar bill is from. You have to go early to get a parking spot. Snacks can be bought and the cafe there. We walked around and took pictures.

I have visited a lot of lakes across Canada... and this one is by far one of the most beautiful. On a blue bird day it will take your breath away.
