Moraine is my favourite of all the lakes in the area and yes much better than Lake Louise. If you want great photos then make sure you visit here.

To use the American expression Awesome. Went here on a glorious summer's day. The colours are wonderful. The hikes, I'm told , are wonderful. We just sat in the car and looked.. If anywhere near please go out .....you will not be disappointed.

Simply amazing! The colour of the water and the atmosphere alone is well worth a visit. The whole of this area is fabulous.

Awesome spot for seeing the nature colors with facilities for boating, Trekking, Rock climbing, etc. The restaurant over there has free wifi and serves cheap and hot food as well.

One of the prettiest hikes we took. Lots of variety of hikes from easy to strenuous. Best to try 3 to 4 hikes to experience the area properly.

Breadth taking view! Need the sun to be out to see the stunning Royal Blue color. Come early during summer for a parking spot. Otherwise, you may get turned away . This is because the parking lot is not very big.

Yes, Lake Louise takes the cake, but Moraine Lake is not far behind. It too had trails with spectacular view. One, near the parking lot, has a steep trail to a scenic overlook of the lake. Not too far from Lake Louise and worth the...More

I honestly think Moraine Lake is better than Lake Louise! The colour is different, there are (somewhat) less people and the surrounding mountains are gorgeous! The time of year is imperative however, we went in July no problems, my mother and sister could not get...More
