This gondola ride is the best attraction to do when in LAKE LOUISE. The view of the lake and the chateau are spectacular. One gets to choose an open air chair or a closed gondola and we choose the open air chair. WOW it was...More

Lake Louise was only semi frozen when we saw it early Nov, but was still incredible. Best time to see it in winter if you don’t like crowds. There is only one cafe in the hotel at Lake Louise which is offered to the public,...More

Beautiful views all around. Make yourself comfortable because it's a nice long ride. We didn't see any wildlife, but the views were terrific. Once you reach the top, the hiking trails are in bear country, so be alert of your surroundings. Also, I recommend you...More

I don't get how the ski resort is so quiet in the summer months. In comparison to the Lake itself and Moraine lake which are both ridiculously crowded ,the ski resort seems to be the hidden jewel. This is the third time we have been...More

I took the Ski Lift up and the Gondola back down as I am not wonderful at heights. The end result of the trip was amazing. The view from the top is incredible. I ate at the restaurant and it was delightful.

The gondola ride up the Lake Louise ski resort offers fantastic views of the lake and surrounding areas. We visit the wildlife conservancy at the top and even took a hike into grizzly bear country!
