Whilst wandering around downtown Calgary we decided to go to the Glenbow Museum. To be honest it was more to do with getting out of the 32C temps than anything! It was $18 each and we got a small map and sticky badge to wear,...More

Picked up an attractions brochure and d cider to use the 2 for 1 voucher in it for the Glenbow. Even at the full price of $16 this place would be good value. Stared our visit in the morning on the top floor where there...More

A mixture of current exhibits as well as permanent historical works. Spread out over 4 floors of space. Allow at least half a day to work your way through this place.

This is a big museum with many floors and lots to see. You need to allow enough time to look at everything. Good value for money.

We spent so much time here that we needed a dietCoke break. Luckily your admission lets you in and out for a whole day. This museum has wonderful, original exhibits. The Native American section was wonderful.

This museum offers exhibits that are interesting, easy to go through, and so informative. The mineral exhibit was the best i've ever seen. Kent Monkman was fascinating. He is of Cree descent. His art work is both resonating and entertaining. The gift shop has an...More

3 packed floors of history and art. Elaborate installations. Interactive displays, and even a craft area for kids!

Located downtown so easy to access with transit - parking not that great downtown. Has a few static displays but they change up the exhibits on a regular basis. A must see for visitors and locals alike. Generally well curated.

I would say a minimum of 3hours. We really didn't allow long enough, just a couple of hours before catching our flight ! There are a number of thought provoking exhibitions and we really wanted to sit and reflect! Enjoy!

I saw a school tour and no daily listed tour. Group tours are available after booking ahead. Strangely enough, fees for group tours are higher than for solo visitors, $20 v. $16. Hope info helped.
