We as a family love going down to the park and find some walks along the river. IN the winter there is also a little ice cave that the kids love to go in. Just expect them to get dirty.

At 13.5 sq km's, or 3330 acres, this is vast park, fully enclosed by the City of Calgary. The City does not operate this park, the province does. And that might explain why there are so many all-year washrooms - The City is very far...More

There is a Great Horned Owl family in Fish Creek Park. Access and parking in the general area of the nest was easy and plentiful. Only one owlet this spring, but it is fun watching how the family gets along raising the youngster.

Fish Creek Park is wonderful with endless meandering trails that loop along the river, across prairie land and through the trees. Birds and occasionally other wildlife. Fishing spots, too.

Yes. Depending on where you are coming from in the City of Calgary, light rail 201 or bus #3 goes there. The park remember is huge so there are probably more than one stop.
