An extremely large Provincial Park with several large car parking areas and a wealth of paths to walk around. After recent snowfalls the pathways had already been cleared, making walking a real pleasure, despite sub zero temperatures. Although visitors to the Calgary area we have...More

This is a great getaway in the city. There are lots of paths and it is easy to get to. I would recommend visiting when you don't have time to get out to the mountains.

This park is not very attractive, the sand is very course, not play sand. The lake is dirty and smelled.

Beautiful place to walk around and see all the wildlife especially with the snow. Christmas would be like a wonderland, and the birds are in abundance all kinds of birds and the deer.

Large, beautiful park/forest like in the south west area of Calgary. Good for walks, runners and walking dogs. Very nicely pathed out.

Fish Creek is an inter city gem. Great walking and biking throughout the park and takes you into nature so as you don't even remember you are in a big city

Fish Creek Park has a great paved pathways system for longboarding, biking, rollerblading etc. There are also heaps of dirt bike trails to explore. Day use areas are great for gatherings.

Yes. Depending on where you are coming from in the City of Calgary, light rail 201 or bus #3 goes there. The park remember is huge so there are probably more than one stop.

I would choose Fish Creek Park, but I am opposed to animals in cages, so I am biased. I much prefer walking around a natural park, enjoying the scenery, stopping to sit on a bench and maybe having a bite to eat from the... More
