This is as fabulous as zoos get. Enclosures are good and animals are well taken care of. Find out about the time our city was under water and hippos almost got out! Go for Zoo Lights if you're here in the winter. SO beautiful!!

An amazing zoo. Increasing focus on conservation. Be sure to visit the lemurs-they walk around you in the pen. I would recommend packing a lunch if traveling with little ones-the cafeterias etc. can be pricey.

Not as good as the Woodland Zoo in Seattle but pretty good zoo. Place has lots of exhibits and you can take your time or rush through as I had to due to a flight coming up

And you can tour the Zoos excellent facilities after to walk off all that food! Bruch buffet has fantastic variety in eggs, meats, savoury, veg. and sweets. Everything was well presented and tasty. Can recommend for Mother’s Day or special celebrations.

It's best to go right when they open. For one thing, most of the animals are more active in the morning and you will often get a chance to witness them being fed. Also, going first thing in the morning means you're one of... More

Hi Matthew- our zoo doesn't focus on marine life, so we don't care for squids here. However we do have a rainforest water habitat with many different species of cichlids. If you're looking forward to water based habitats, we... More
