Carburn Park has always been a favorite place to go as I grew up near it. It was completely underwater during the 2013 floods, and since then it has had an amazing upgrade!

We've never missed seeing a deer, and if you come at sunset, there's a good chance you'll see beavers as well.

Nice little hidden park beside the Bow River. Lots of natural beauty with a trout pond that is ideal for children.

Free entrance and free parking. The trails are very easy going around the pond and some into the woods, one trail connects to the city pathway system. Washroom facilities on site along with picnic areas.
