Use a gps, the map doesn't convey how many ways you can go completely wrong in this area. Very beautiful modern take on traditional architecture. Sadly, I didn't get to go inside because it was closed (on a sunday?) But it looks like the kind of thing I would enjoy seeing.

Located, very close to downtown Calgary and Chinatown, take the Centre Street bridge over the Bow River. We attended part of Easter Service there [it is a long one]. The interior gilt gold work and murals, flags, Cyrillic script and paintings alone are worth seeing. They have a nice small gift shop too. Yellow and a light blue are the... More

Under normal circumstances I never would have thought of checking it out, although it is very prominently located on the Northeast side of the hill in close proximity of downtown Calgary.
