We visited the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary near downtown Calgary recently and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful walking trails. The sanctuary has an information centre , with friendly people to answer your questions, at the parking lot. The well maintained trails start here and circumnavigate...More

An oasis in the city; very glad we discovered this! Saw 5-6 mule deer, ducks, black-capped chickadees, red-winged blackbirds, and numerous others. The workers in the centre were very friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to take many great photos.
