Right now it is still closed from the floods of last year. I really don't know when it will reopen. Great place to see Wood Ducks. Good little hike. Lots of wildlife to be seen early in the morning.

Due to the flood of 2013 this place has not reopened. Apparently it will not open until 2016. It is a great piece of nature in central Calgary and will soon be forgotten is they do not get funding to do the clean up.

It's amazing to find this little piece of environmental awareness and care tucked into the middle of the city. A nice retreat from the noise.

So close to downtown but feel so far away. Very secluded and right by the river. Bring some bird seeds with you and when you are walking along the paths, just stop, put some seeds in the palm of your hand and stick your hand...More
