A family must do!

John Janzen Nature Centre is a hidden classic. A great day out for the whole family, fun things to do and see. And some great hiking around the area.

Our host was not great with younger kids and they were bored. Would not recommend booking a birthday party here.

My small children love to come her on rainy days to explore indoors. And we love sunny days to explore all of the surrounding areas outside. The indoor play area is suitable for the very small to about aged 8. The live animal exhibits are always fun to see - and if you are lucky, to touch as well! There... More

What can I say, Absolutely nothing and I mean Nothing to see, Not worth the Short walk from Ford Edmonton park, never actually knew where it started and when it finished, I am still wondering what it is and why it was built ????

Kids only want to go in play area. Not much to see or enjoy. There are lot more better places in Edmonton..

We went on a field trip there with 18-20 children. It was not what we expect it. I thought they would have a variety of activities for children but that wasn't the case.

I decided to make a little playdate/birthday party for my daughter here with 3 other friends and tried to call ahead to see if they would allow snacks inside the centre when rain ruined our chance of snacks outside. When I arrived I was told that if children from a "real" pre booked party came, all the kids who did... More

Fun, small little gem of a place near Fort Edmonton. The bees are fascinating, the indoor adventure park, while small, was really fun for the kids...they didn't want to leave. Lots of cool trails around.

The indoor playground for the kids is nice for rainy days, however, it needs maintenance, lots of the toys are missing most of the time that we go there so the kids cannot actually do the activities that are there.
