I had no idea Marmot Basin was so large! The mid mountain chalet is extensive with lots of options, you can watch skiers from the lounge by a cozy fire place. We spent all day and still did not experience the whole Mountain, we will definitely be back.

I've been coming to Marmot for over 15 years and after trying other ski resorts (in driving distance from Edmonton), Marmot is by far the best. The conditions are great and there is such a great variety of run difficulties. Every chair you do go up, offers an easy way down and they have some really fun and challenging runs.... More

First the Marmot cards advertise no blackout dates but when we tried to use them we were told either the card or Jasper in January. There was nothing to say you could not and that is poor advertising. If you told me upfront then I would not of been disappointed. Second I use to be a smoker and I watched... More

Hi Wingitman, Thank you for your feedback. I'm a little confused about the information you were given regarding the Escape Card, as there is definitely no blackout dates associated with the card. It is 50% Off Regular Priced lift tickets all season long. Would you mind getting in touch directly to: social[at]skimarmot[dot]com as I'd like to follow up to ensure... More

Wasn't crazy busy, rentals were easy to access, beers were cold, life was good! Hill has some fun drops/jumps/slopes. I'd recommend if you are in the neighbourhood

I spent a day at the ski hill taking beginner lessons with Lars who was fabulously patient and tireless in getting me started with skiing! It's a busy place, so make sure you get there early and get your gear if you are renting!

Great place to ski or snow board with breath taking views and a place to relax and recharge, the Cafe not too bad , Better get your own gear rental quite expensive but the experience is worthy. Will visit again
