I stopped by to get some information about a specific hiking trail in the area. The older gentleman working didn't know anything about it (or even recommendations of other hiking trails in the area). He offered us some brochure, but they didn't give us any information we didn't already know. But he was friendly and tried his best.

We happened to stop here just to use the facilities and stumbled upon a great resource. Maps, advice and all manner of helpful information from the knowledgeable staff. Well worth the stop.

When you stop here for information, you are also at the Discovery Centre, a functioning museum and park with a true steam locomotive.

I replied that I was just looking around, and was informed in a pleasant voice to go ahead, and if I needed anything, they were more than happy to help. They have some things to buy, and lots of free information. The staff is... More
