Great hike

Great hike with kids. Stupendous vistas! Not strenuous. Gorgeous scenery. Lots of bikers along trail. Not too much wildlife, mostly squirrels, marmots and birds.

You can see the whole group of trestles in a couple hours round trip. Bring a bicycle so you get the whole experience. The biggest trestle is at the end.

the first time I walked the Myra Canyon there were several missing ties. I got down on my knees to go across. Now with all the repairs I can ride my bike across without any problems

We really enjoyed our day at Myra Canyon. We hiked the various trestles and tunnels on a hot summer day. Saw some curious Pika's and many friendly chipmunks. This hike can be as long as you chose to make it, with a wide flat path. I would be in favour of cycling it next time. The trailhead does offer bike... More

A hidden historic gem in Kelowna. The hike is an easy flat hike that takes you through tunnels and across majestic trestles. The views of Kelowna are breathtaking! Whether you bike or walk you won't be disappointed.

The drive up the hill was harder than the biking. My 8 year old daughter didn't think she could bike more than one km. I told her to tell me when to turn around so we didn't have to walk back. After one km she said she could go farther. After 8 km I was getting nervous-are you sure you... More

This is one of our favorite places to walk in the valley. It's gorgeous, usually a bit cooler in the summer, and a very easy gentle grade. Stroller friendly.

We are house sitting in Kelowna for the winter (what's wrong with us) and are exploring. We went to Myra station the trail head for the trestle part of the Kettle valley rail to trails portion. It is Jan 2 really cold 14 F and 4 inches fresh snow. The trail is well packed and good walking or snow showing... More

Great scenery, easy access by vehicle, but must have 4x4 or AWD in winter and snow tires. Very Important!!! The walk is nice and easy for all ages, you can go for miles or just a short stroll. Good every time of year.
