We always stop here when we have time to kill before our BC Ferry reservations. Beautiful waterfront park to stretch your legs after a long drive. Lots of Arbutus trees and one of the last stands of Garry Oaks on the Island.

Stumbled upon this park when we needed a little walk. Its a small seaside park with rugged terrain.......but definitely walkable. Very quiet....great for appreciating nature.

Yes, you can ride the in-coming tide at Piper's 's channel. It is an exhilarating experience akin to swimming down a horizontal waterfall. Be aware that you should be a strong swimmer or wear a life jacket. Be sure to go... More
