The nicest walking trails and ocean views in Nanaimo. Lots of landings and benches along the way. Dogs are allowed but there is only one area where they are allowed off leash.

This is my favourite location to catch a Nanaimo sunset. It's an amazing park with plenty of trails to keep you busy for the afternoon. The views are perfection and getting to witness a sunset here is a true miracle.

I have walked here and found the area to be absolutely beautiful! There is access to the ocean, and views of the strait. A lovely place to take outdoor pics.

I go there to capture photographs of the sea birds looking for and diving for their food. Easy place to walk around. Big waves on windy November days.

We visited Neck Point in the rain, and it was still amazing! The rocks, ocean, forest, cliffs, are beautiful.

A long walk for a real walk and without a doubt take the time to do this because around every corner there is a fresh view, respect shown to the First Nation, the history of the Island itself, speaks for itself in it's beauty. Even...More

HI,there is a swimming/wading area, but it is very course, stoney beach. If you decide to test the water, or even walk on the beach, wear durable footwear.

I would say that there would be hundreds of people there everyday. Sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot.
