This is the best street market I have seen in Canada. During the summer from May to The end of August, it takes over 8+ blocks of downtown fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, crafts, wine sampling, craft beer sampling and artists. We often spend 2-3 hours here on a Saturday morning, shopping, exploring and visiting friends. Thousands of locals and tourists... More

I attend the farmers market ever time I'm in Penticton in the summer and fall. Always a great Varity of ethnic foods and lots of entertainment. Wine tasting are great as well. Some local produce prices are out of the world but just look around, you'll find the price you're willing to pay. But over all a must see.

The market was amazing- a must see! I heard about this market while I was staying in Kelowna, and the 1 hr drive to Penticton was definitely worth it. The market is HUGE- they have everything from fresh fruits/veggies to food and crafts, even clothing. The fruits/veggie/produce are all grouped together in one section of the market, and it seemed... People come from considerable distances to experience the Penticton Farmers Market. Several blocks of Main Street on Saturdays (Spring, Summer, Fall) are cordoned off for foot traffic only. Entertainment, booths, food, wine, and even spirit sales are available as well as farm produce, plants, flowers, etc. There also lots of coffee houses, restaurants, cafes, etc. on Penticton's newly revamped Main... Saturday mornings in Penticton mean going to the farmers market from May until the end of October. The produce is fresh and the venders friendly and helpful. It also gives you a chance to walk Main Street and check out the shops normally driven past.

This is a well stocked and well presented market with a good vibe. There are plenty of Artisans of all kinds whether food or craft, and I like the authenticity of the stallholders. I have been to too many markets where the goods are not artisan so it's great to see people who are proudly selling their wares. I think... More

The market is temporary and is set up on main street early in the morning. You can find fresh produce, jams and pickles, pies and breads, several sausage vendors, arts and crafts, and a growing number of food trucks. There is normally some musical entertainment as well.

Best farmers' market in the Okanagan Valley, if not within the entire province. A great way to spend a Saturday morning and perfect place for locals to bring their visiting family/friends. Four to five city blocks of stall after stall of local Okanagan farmers displaying their fresh produce; wineries, breweries and distilleries offering tastings; vendors with awesome selection of baked...
