Somewhat off the beaten path bet worth the sidetrip. We were directed up here by people at our motel. We thought why not, we’ll only be here once. Beautiful day and it got us off the highway. Fun addition to our vacation.

This park is awesome. You can run, you can hike around the trails. People are out with their families and dogs. Not too far from the city but far enough to just relax and enjoy the day. They also have a covered shelter which has...More

Eskers is well worth the drive out the Chief Lake road. The variety of terrain and the variety of scenery offer something for almost everyone. There are portions that are wheel chair accessible and others that can become a good workout. Interpretive signs and stations...More

Of course, in front of me and behind me at my home is Esker's Provincial Park, for 15 years and counting. Something most remarkable is the hiking trail is clear and mapped to allow you to bail-out to the maintenance road many times in your...More

This park has survived the Pine Beetle rather well. The signage and geography explanations remain clear. The portage docks appear to be new. The 12 km loop to Kathie Lake is a lovely moderate hike. We had the place to ourselves. There were signs of...More
