We skied at Purden Ski Resort on Friday, March 4 and the skiing was in heavenly light powder with lots of fresh ski lines all day due to a smaller crowd of 3 visiting groups. Saturday night another 15 cm of the lightest feathery snow fell and we skied on both chairlifts. Sunday was a stellar blue blazer day with... More

This is a great little ski hill about 1 hour away from Prince George. Lots of brushing in the last year. Wonderful powder runs after a bunch of snow during the week - also good grooming. Food is a bit expensive, so we always bring our lunch. Friendly staff and lots of happy faces. We love skiing here.

Came out to the hill for my first time in 6 years for day. Although the hill itself has good terrain, the lift tickets are priced high for this hill. They don't offer any reciprocal rates or ski club discounts either. The runs are all overgrown with willows and small trees and some runs weren't even skiable in late January... More

Great snow and great views and rarely, if ever, a liftline. However, NO aprés-ski ambience whatsoever, tough road up, and no really advanced skiing at all. BUT, as I say for intermediate, upper intermediate skiers or boarders or even low-level advanced, skiing will be great, even though the sun goes down early!

We had such a blast skiing that day, the hill and conditions were great, wait times were super reasonable and the lodge was warm and inviting. The lodge itself is not a high end place but it's inviting and roomy with big window views. We had a tailgate party and brought our own BBQ for all our friends to have... More

Beautiful day on Saturday Jan 17/15...Hadn't been to Purden since last season...powder was fresh and light, some runs have had some clearing done recently thus are a little more open. Prices have increased significantly since I was out last. So much so that I will drive to Powder King next time. I would suggest bringing all drinks and food from... More

Overall a great skiing experience. Purden was the first place I ever skied, and it was quite alright! The prizes were little high compared to surrounding areas but it is close to Prince George.

Lots of fresh snow and great spring break skiing. The best skiing around without the expense of driving down south.

Of the ski hills around Prince George Purden is by far the worst. At the ticket window you pay for a pass that priced in line with a hill twice the caliber of Purden and then to add insult to injury if you plan on buying a lunch you are taken for another ride as the prices in the restaurant... 45 minutes from Prince George, Purden is a hidden jem with 2 chair lifts and a t-bar for the kids. Plenty of hill and powder for everyone. Always a great day at Purden.
