Spent a couple of hours visiting this museum which contains some extremely interesting items of First Nation history. The museum is attractively laid out and the staff are helpful too. A museum gift shop that has items worth buying made a pleasant change from normal.

This museum has a good variety of local artifacts, native carvings and a cradle lined with moss but also an old typewriter from the CNR and furniture used by settlers. There is even some contemporary art, and the gift shop has reasonable prices.

An extremely well-presented museum in a beautiful building. An extensive collection of First Nations art, culture and history and also highlighting the meeting of the First Peoples and the European immigrants.

Lovely building and well-suited for cruise ship attendees. The one thing that struck me as unusual was the absence of much explanatory material so one knew what they were looking at and in what context it should be considered. I found myself left wanting more....More
