Kicking Cat Skiing!

So much terrain, great tree skiing, fantastic snow, especially compared to any ski hill! Get out there and give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

My friends and I took a trip from Poland to BRC this march and it was our best snowboadring trip ever. We booked a package, two double rooms for 8 days at The Red Shutter Inn plus 4 days riding snowcats. Few days before our arrival we got an email from the owners that we were upgraded to a three... I write this review with concern that it will be difficult booking at trip in the future. My buddy had a cat or heli trip on his "bucket" list (even though he is way to young for a bucket list). We are advanced/expert riders that are comfortable riding any conditions and we decieded to book intermediate/advance since it was our... More

Overall I had a satisfactory adventure with BigRedCats (BRC). I highly encourage groups with intermediate/advanced skiers to visit BRC. BRC has access to a large forest with gentle fun slopes. This makes it possible for the guide to build a safe yet appropriately challenging route through the forest. True experts need to ensure they join an "Uber-Expert" group or choose... More

This is our second time skiing with Big Red Cats and like the previous occasion, we were treated to excellent snow and a great experience. The weather gods, of course control, the big picture although it is amazing how the skilled Guides at Big Red Cats are able to find super snow. Safety at Big Red Cats is first, last... More

We went cat skiing with BRC in February 2013. A lot of the province was experiencing poor snow conditions and BRC offered our group a rain check for next year. Unfortunately, half of our group came from Ontario and was not able to take a rain check due to practical issues such as booked flights, booked hotels, booked time off... More

Had my best ski trip of all time. Spent three days cat skiing with Big Red Cats. Pretty much did a different run every time all three days and had fresh tracks every run. Our guides were awesome(matt and pete) lots of fun and very knowledgable about the terrain. We had a skier hurt his knee and the guides were... More

We were a bit concerned heading into our trip as the snow seemed to stop falling a couple weeks prior to our arrival. Our guides did a great job, scouting out untracked snow, and we managed some very nice, challenging runs throughout the day. Cat rides were great, with plenty of food and snacks, and guides were very friendly and... More

Once again big red cats has satisfied our thirst for great catskiing. Thanx to Matti and Peter , our guides, for finding and getting the best runs. Thanx to Paula for fitting in a last minute addition to our group. Bluebird day and warm most of day. Changed up to expert this year and was worth it. Hadn't seen fresh... More

IF your in the Rossland B.C. area you must check this place out. Fantastic tree skiing and its sweet because you can go with a group that is at the same ability level. They offer from intermediate to expert Cats to choose from and the terrain that you experience matches your groups ability level. With over 8 mountains and 19,300... More
