Book lovers paradise

The place is jam packed with all kinds of used and old books at reasonable prices. Loved the book smell when we walked in. Lots of variety and well organized for browsing.

This is a great little book store located in the downtown Ganges, located near the harbour. This seem to be a new building with numerous books on a multi floors. Owner is friendly & you can also see local artists paintings available for purchase.

Well-organized mostly second-hand book shop with just the right amount of nooks and crannies. Carefully curated, with an impressive range and depth of offerings.

Lots of interesting titles and much diversity in what they carry. It's not a huge place and I love the quirky maze of stacks with dead ends. A great place to browse during a rain shower.

A treat to visit a real book store with knowledgeable staff and folks that really know and love books. Antiquarian, slightly used and new books - some maps and lots of atmosphere. A must see for anyone who loves books - Across the street from the classic harbour village hardware store (Moaut's) and adjacent to two art galleries and one... More

Found this gem when doing the market on salt spring. What an awesome find with an unbelievable selection of new and used books. They had everything and the people that run this shop were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Picked up a few old books for the ride home and couldn't be happier. This shop is not to be missed if... More

I would recommend going to this store if you ever visit Salt Spring Island. You cannot get the completed feel for the local area until you spend time in the book store absorbing the smell, sight, and atmosphere. I bought plenty of books and can't wait to read them. My favourite little store on the island.

Now THIS is what a bookshop is all about!! Interesting and varied selection and the lady was most helpful. Good memories of when bookshops were the norm rather than e-books. Very useful selection of local interest books, too.

This is a special book shop. You will not even notice the time pass as you wander through the wonderful aisles of floor to ceiling shelves full of affordable and good condition used books ranging from beach reading to collector items. It's also comfortable for browsing and reading previews. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Linger here!

I make a point to go to this book store in the village of Ganges on every visit to Salt Spring. They have a terrific collection of books of every category a person could ask for, some new and many, many older and/or antique books. It is like a book museum - floor to ceiling shelves holding works such as... More
