We took the three hour escorted round trip to Chocolate Beach. Yohanna was exceptional in managing our trip from the start to give us the best experience. We were outfitted with all that was needed to be safe and comfortable, including a thermos of herbal tea and fresh baked locally made cookies! Our guide Jim pointed out various wildlife (even an... My tour guide, Laura, was very knowledgeable of the area we were paddling in. She pointed out many things that I would have gone right by without appreciating the historical or natural significance. It was a well paced tour. My gear was good and I had no concerns with feeling safe. Laura's thoughtfulness extended to Chocolate Chai tea and chocolate... More

Late August is perfect weather to kayak out to Chocolate Beach. The guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out & explained not only marine life, boats in the marina and many of the mini islands history. The group was fun (as I was a single) and the guide made sure I was included and never felt left out.

We did the Chocolate Beach tour, and it was worth the extra time and money. The guides were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!! The scenery was out of this world - saw living sand dollars for the first time! I would strongly recommend this company if you are looking for a safe and great kayaking experience.

We took the kayaking trip to Chocolate Beach with Island Escapades last month. We are a family of four with no previous experience. Our guide, Kevin, was outstanding. He was patient and thorough and inspired confidence. He also displayed real enthusiasm for his role and knowledge about the wildlife that we saw. The trip was a highlight of our time... More

We had a great time on our guided kayak tour to Chocolate Beach. I would definitely recommend Island Escapades Kayaking trips. Our main guide, Zach, was exceptional! He was not only super personable (he learned everyone's names, and surprised me with a "happy birthday" sing-along at Chocolate Beach), he was also very knowledgeable about wildlife and local folklore. At first,... More

The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that we launched our boats out of an extremely muddy Bay instead of off a dock or beach. I would recommend water booties! We arrived on the wrong date but Island Escapades was extremely flexible and squeezed us in to the kayaking trip anyway! We did a tour to chocolate... More

Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed the trip. Just so you know, our location is on a beach which is on a estuary. You were most likely there during a low tide that has just dropped. In this case we carry down all the boats to the waterline and all guests are asks or recommended to... More
