Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more.

Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest.

Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

I read some great reviews about this trail, and while it definitely was not awful, it does not stand out as one of my favourite hikes while in Tofino. It is very nice for a quick stroll. The boardwalk is probably due for a makeover as it is rotting in sections, but that's rainforest boardwalks for you. Would I do... More

This walk, which I think is known as the Wild Pacific trail, winds around the cliffs past the lighthouse and along the shoreline through the rainforest. There are numerous places to stop and take in the stunning views and abundant birdlife along the way. Not to be missed.

Just a short drive from Green Point campground, there is a trail on each side of the road, do both trails if you can. The planked portion of the trails are very sturdy and easy to walk. The trees and vegetation are amazing, look for the National Park red chairs. Parking is on one side only, lot extends further back... More

This is a gem of a walk. Informative and so many different views from around every corner. The plants are so unusual given all the unusual shapes. The walk isn't long and any one with walking difficulties have plenty of seating to just sit and enjoy the fabulous views. Children would love this walk.

Well worth the stop need a parks Canada pass to walk the trail. (Available at the Parking lot). Slow walk taking pictures takes about an hour per side.

This loop trail is great if you don't want to walk too much as it takes only 30 min to walk the whole way. You also walk on wooden pathways and there are some great staircases in the forest

Enjoyed this variable hike through Tofino rainforest. A lot of work went into making the boardwalk but a lot has narrow boards without handrails and is slippery when wet so caution advised. A loop trail starts from the parking lot and i would think taking the right hand choice would involve less steps coming back.
