Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more.

Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest.

Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

Short water taxi ride out and back. Walk thru forest was great, Boardwalk could use fixing in a few spots but as it is end of season I expect it had a lot of use. Need to be a bit agile. Could use a better map of trail.

We stopped here to walk one of the trails on our way back to our campsite. It was later in the day (but still daylight) so it wasn't very busy. The entire trail is a wooden pathway and it's a really easy walk. Both young and old can do this. This rainforest is stunning - it's incredible to see what... More

Another shaded walk on a warm sunny Tofino day. I like walking on the wooden trail and seeing the rain forest. the forest offers many unusual plants that you don't see in Ontario. It seemed like the rain forest was only ours. No tourists this time. Quiet, restful walk was enjoyed.

It was simply magical. The path may be a bit slippery so take caution but seriously it's a rain forest so think about it there fellow travelers. :) It was calm and quiet, and rich and clean and fresh smelling. Go. Go. Walk. Walk slowly.

i parked near the lighthouse and started the trail from lighthouse with the kid in stroller. the trail goes along the beach to the left and trees to the right. some places it is slightly steep but still you can move the stroller. In general the trail map is not clear. it was clear when we saw it and we... More

I read some great reviews about this trail, and while it definitely was not awful, it does not stand out as one of my favourite hikes while in Tofino. It is very nice for a quick stroll. The boardwalk is probably due for a makeover as it is rotting in sections, but that's rainforest boardwalks for you. Would I do... More

This walk, which I think is known as the Wild Pacific trail, winds around the cliffs past the lighthouse and along the shoreline through the rainforest. There are numerous places to stop and take in the stunning views and abundant birdlife along the way. Not to be missed.

Just a short drive from Green Point campground, there is a trail on each side of the road, do both trails if you can. The planked portion of the trails are very sturdy and easy to walk. The trees and vegetation are amazing, look for the National Park red chairs. Parking is on one side only, lot extends further back... More
