My wife and I flew up to the hotsprings to get there before the boat crowds arrived but due to fog we were delayed by a couple hours. We still had a great time at the hotsprings, hiking through the forest and we even saw...More

The actual springs are quite small and slippery to walk around! Nice and warm but you kind of sit in a crevice alongside others on the trip. Wouldn't be too pleasant if crowded so I recommend finding quiet time to go - early morning or...More

We took the early boat and were lucky to only be there with 10 other people. The hot springs was a little cramped but fit all of us just fine. I wouldn't want to be part of a group any larger than 15 people. Pack...More

Amazing - hot spring water bubbling up and flowing through several narrow pools between the rocks to the ocean. A really cool trip, but be careful: the rocks down to the springs are quite slippery.

The Hot Springs are a must see while you are in Tofino! They are in a very remote location, and you need to take a boat or float plane to go see them. But it is very worth it! The half hour walk in is...More

Strange thing: with 12 degrees celsius in your swimming outfit and than climbing down to the hotsprings. 50 degrees water temperature. Wonderful feeling. Ladies look out for your silver jewelry. It will need a silver polish after you enjoyed the hot springs.

Well worth a day trip if you have the time in Tofino. We booked with Ocean Outfitters who were great. The hike from the jetty to get to the cove is about half hour but very easy and on a wooden walk way. Great scenery...More

It is a lovely place to go to. We went on a rainy day and had the springs nearly to ourselves. There is not a lot of space so I am not sure how relaxing the place would be if several tourgroups swarm in. There...More

Brilliant walk, incredible forest, but try and get this done as early as possible, can get a little crowded, get the boat to the springs and fly with the seaplane on the return, stunning views, and wear some shoes in the springs the rocks are...More

I visited Hot Springs Cove in 1991 and had fond memories of it. Four of us had this spectacular place to ourselves. Last week, our boat with 10 people was the first one there, and that was already far too many people. Four people can...More

We are planning to go here next week. Would the 30 minutes walking to the cove be OK for someone with bad knees?

It is difficult to know how to answer your question because I have no idea how bad your bad knees are. One thing I know for sure is that the boardwalk has many stairs, some up, some down and it is made of wood. Probably... More

Hi. As I mentioned in my review I just took a First Nations school boat. They picked me several days later, as was arranged. This is not a service normally offered to tourists, however - I just happened to be in the right... More
