Took this tour as we have done similar ones in Europe but this was by far the worst. The main problem was the recorded commentary which was totally inaudible .Having read the literature handed out with the tickets it said ask the driver for headphones or bring your own -not usually something most people would carry around with them ! If... More

We did the full day tour to Whistler, It was wonderful. Mark, our driver/guide made the trip so enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable about local sights and landmarks which made the trip even more fun and relaxed, he even had some funny jokes, which was great. We were also lucky enough to see some bears :) We enjoyed the day... More

Has a great day with Geoff our First Nationals tour guide and learnt a lot about them from him. Gardens were fantastic as was the time spent wandering through Victoria. The ferry rides allowed for meal time without cutting into sightseeing time. Only down side is avoid the back seats of the bus as the west coast sightseeing decal obscures... More

Seeing awesome reviews on Viator and TripAdvisor, we took the Vancouver City Tour with Capilano Suspension Bridge. The connecting bus driver was 15 minutes late and by the time we were dropped at Canada Place, it was noon. We started from Canada Place and went through the streets with the driver cum guide providing some valuable insights. We stopped at... More

Ideal day 1, we got an early morning bus the whole way round listening to great guides chat on what to do and see. Then spent rest of day getting on and off. Weather was good so several stops in Stanley Park, then on to downtown. It's a great way to orient yourself. Next day was wet so we could... More

Everything was well organised from booking to arrival back in our hotel at the end of the day. Butchart Gardens are outstanding and will long live in our memory. The mention of the Miniature Museum in Victoria led us to check it out, what a delight for people of all ages. Ed was calm and helpful and added to our... More

We loved our cruise shuttle to the airport and Vancouver sightseeing tour which we chartered with Westcoast Sightseeing. Our driver/guide was Errol and he made the trip fun and informative. All the way from setting up the reservation to the final drop off at the airport, everything was smooth and professional. Yes we will use this business again and highly... More

We took this hop on hop tour today. We have previously visited Vancouver before however if this visit was our first this tour would have put us off the city for ever. We found the attitude of the staff very poor and the customer service, at times non existent! We got off the bus and decided to walk to the... More

By far the best way to see the city in brief, following that we were able to choose where to go that we most liked on the tour. Very friendly and well informed drivers who kept us educated about as much as as there was too know.

Our family enjoyed this tour immensely, mostly because of the humor and knowledge of our tour guide Mike. He was wonderful and really made the day for us all. We loved Butchart Gardens, it was an amazing sight to see. That alone was worth the trip over to Vancouver Island. We wished we had a bit more time in Victoria.... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
