North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.

This is a must see when visiting this beautiful city. It's worth driving through it as well as walking and cycling it. Lots of points of interest throughout the park. Recommend to go early before the tourists arrive.

A city tour of Vancouver really opens your eyes to the history of this exciting place. Stanley Park has the most fantastic views of the city.

We used the park a couple of times while in Vancouver. Firstly we explored the interior areas on foot (Beaver lake and the forest trails) and then we hired bikes and cycled around the seawall section. The park is vast with lots of things going on and the seawall was packed with walkers and cyclists. A very popular spot with... More

We love Stanley Park - so much that we were married here. Every bit of the park offers something for visitors. We walked all around the miniature train area, the aquarium, the totem poles, the water front, etc. Everywhere there are tulips in bloom, the trees are equally beautiful and interesting and the grounds are luscious. I wish we had... More

If you are in Vancouver you owe it to yourself to go to Stanley Park. Rent a bicycle and ride it's perimeter, run or rollerblade the perimeter (designated lanes). Beautiful views. See big trees!

Worth the trip. The only problem is all of the big cargo ships that are blocking your view of the mountains and the sunset. Great park for a walk or a picnic. Only about 15-20 minutes from downtown and close to restaurants and bars. Great spot.

Stanley Park is big and beautiful. It features something for everyone including magnificent views, beaches, historic artifacts, totem polls, an aquarium, and of course lots of plants, trees, and water. Biking the seawall around the park is my favorite activity to do when visiting Vancouver. The path is paved and mostly divided between pedestrian and bikes. You can rent bikes... More

My wife and I visited the park in 2009 and our daughter accompanied us this time. It's just as beautiful as we remembered and definitely a place we would recommend that others take time to see when visiting Vancouver. There are great views of the water, mountains, Lions Gate Bridge as well as North and West Vancouver. Paved walking paths... More
