Aquarium is well done. Lots of things to see. Informative with very nice people working there. Located in Stanley Park and close to the West End. Worth a visit.

The Aquarium is a lovely museum that has informative displays and presentations. We loved the 4D theatre. Lots of kids, which is to be expected, but so worth seeing even for an adult group.

The Aquarium does good work and is a good way to spend a day. Make sure to time your day out to see the trainer demonstrations. The tanks aren't incredibly large, but the wildlife is well looked after.

Beautiful assortment of marine life. Did not find it layed out nice. Found half of the viewing areas for the shows were quite small, hard to see what was going on.

So, if you have been to one in California or Copenhagen, the you will be very disappointed. The only thing that was worth the trip was the jelly queen. Picture attached.

A wonderful all age experience. You can pet the stingrays, get up at eye level (even the little ones) to may of the tanks. Jellyfish exhibit is simply stunning, and the play area for the kids is loads of fun. Demonstrations with the caretakers are...More

The aquarium had plenty of displays and viewing areas to keep our kids entertained and interested for the entire morning. One had studied swimming creature school, so she enjoyed seeing the live animals.

I recently spent a few hours at the Vancouver Aquarium. There have both indoor and outdoor exhibits. It was interesting, informative and the otters were adorable.

I was thinking about large aquariums, this one is smaller but very well equipped. Liked the frogs! Everything was clean and you could see things easily.

My son-in-law was in a meeting at the Stanley Pavilion so the granddaughters and my daughter and I went to the aquarium. I loved it and would highly recommend it to those visiting Vancouver. Getting your tickets online ahead of time is an excellent idea....More

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.

Very small aquarium, and sadly the beluga whales which were the main attraction have passed away.
