The Aquarium is great. Lots of Fish, sea creatures and mammels. The amazon exhibt is very good. Watching the trainers work with the Seals and Dolphin is great. The exhibt with the sea otters is great they are very active. Worth the time to visit

When I went to the Aquarium I didn't realize they're a nonprofit organization, doing research and educating about oceans and marine life. Knowing that made the visit even better. We got there a little late so didn't have much time to see everything, but we...More

Great visit to the aquarium with lots to see, although not as big as I expected. We went on a Saturday and even though only April it was very busy. You can see they really care about what they do and, although quite a pricy...More

We enjoyed the variety of life at the aquarium, esp. the jelly fish. It was well laid out so you didn't have to worry about missing something. I loved the dolphin, otters, etc. There were several informants around to discuss things with the children as...More

Went for part of our anniversary, always a nice visit, educational, and it's nice to see so many messages about recycling and trying to raise awareness to save our oceans, keep it up.

We went early on a rainy Friday. We used Airmiles to purchase tickets. This allowed us to bypass the ticket purchase line. Being early in the morning my wife and I were not crowded inside that allowed us to take photos. The aquarium seemed to...More

A relatively small, compared with others, aquarium. Outdoor pools where otters, sea lions, seals and a dolphin live are particularly modest. All mammals that live in those pools were rescued from the wild, and are deemed not releasable. Public can attend their training sessions. These...More

Our munchkin got all fired up when he saw all those Nemo-fishes aka clown fishes. He enjoyed the visit very much and we too. It’s cool that some aquariums have glass domes so that kids can go under them and into the dome for a...More

Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.

Very small aquarium, and sadly the beluga whales which were the main attraction have passed away.
