This is a great place to visit and we got to see a Beluga whale! How fabulous is that! Watched the 'show' they do twice - once from outside and once from inside. Also loved seeing the dolphins. My favourite though were the sea otters...More

It's a very good attraction inside the Stanley Park , especially if you have kids... They will love the penguins and the white whales... A must see in Vancouver..

I will warn you, it is a bit of a high price point getting in. But the reason is there isn't government funding for this fantastic place. And the experience was fantastic! Not only did we as the adults learn and experience a lot but...More

Lots to see in this small but excellent aquarium. Exhibits were well done. Best jellyfish exhibits we have ever seem. Also, beluga whale show was very good.

Had the chance to visit the Vancouver Aquarium and a lot has changed since we were there several years ago. The exhibits are awesome and the staff are very helpful. We also did the 4D film experience which was pretty cool for the kids.

Highly recommend a visit, much larger than we were expecting. You could easily eat up a whole day touring around. Great for adults or kids.

I love that the aquarium has animals that have been rescued, and not caught. Their goal is to release them back into the wild; unfortunately some animals cannot be released due to injuries. My daughter was beside herself watching the dolphins. She loved the interactions...More

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.

Very small aquarium, and sadly the beluga whales which were the main attraction have passed away.
