We just happened upon this cathedral while walking and I'm glad we went in. It looks interesting from the outside, but the interior is absolutely gorgeous. The stained glass is reminiscent of what's seen in Ireland, and all over the world in these cathedrals. On a bright and sunny day, I'm sure they would just light up. It's definitely worth... More

Only takes a few minutes to walk through, but if you have the time, this beautiful cathedral is worth a stop. No admission fee, just a donation, if you want to. This cathedral has beautiful stained glass windows and a huge pipe organ as well.

We did a carol sing here on Christmas eve and the church was so pretty inside and out. The acoustics in the sanctuary are amazing. It is also a very inclusive church and most bathrooms in the building are gender neutral.

I'm sure it's nice on the inside, but I only got to see the outside. Because it's CLOSED ON WEEKENDS! So if you're planning on visiting, remember that! There's not much to look at on the outside. Really disappointing :-(

Actually attended a service in this beautiful church. Not only is the interior eclectic in design but so is the liturgy and heavenly music by the choir and organ. The new spire at the back of the cathedral is modern in design with beautiful stained glass and when the bells toll they are wonderful.

Just a few more weeks of scaffolding and you'll be able to see a very impressive cathedral with nice outside grounds and a great stained-glass interior. Had a friendly volunteer to give us as much info as we needed (we're not big church tourists). Worth a wuick stop in!

I visited on a Saturday and was told it was closed. Only open Mon-Fri. They boast on their website of their Open House policy and inclusivity. I didn't see any sign of it. Not very Christian.

Whilst on a coach traveling to Capilano Suspension Bridge the informative driver, as part of her narrative, recommended a visit to the Cathedral in part to see the beautiful interior. The building is undergoing a major renovation and we had walked by already on numerous occasions without stopping to look inside. Big mistake - the inside is spectacular, particularly the... More

Currently undergoing renovation to put in a bell tower consisting of 4 bells - the smallest can be seen inside. This once was the tallest building in Vancouver - a long time ago and it has been preserved well, some photos of what it used to look like can be found inside. There are tours if you like, but I... Not religious, just like churches as a type of architecture. It was partially under renovation during my visit. The part you could see was very nice.
