The VanDusen Botanical Garden has an amazing collection of plants from all over the world. There are many interesting sections, but my favourites were the Rose Garden and the Maze. The flowers are beautiful and the tree varieties interesting. Who knew there were so many...More

MY wife and I didn't know much about this garden, but caught the bus out from Vancouver for a visit. We were very impressed with the garden. Very well laid out and lots of interesting features.

We only had a little over 90 minutes for our visit. Being from the arid American west, we were quite impressed with the lush abundance of vegetation, water features and well marked walkways and displays. We covered a lot of the park, but left more...More

We were there one beautiful warm evening in May when the rhododendrons and azaleas were at their very best. They were definitely the highlight of this visit but we also enjoyed the other parts of this great urban park.

Attended 7th June at 1015 am, and very warm day in Vancouver. We drove 80 miles to see this park. Coming to the main counter there is a restaurant and a out side patio with umbrellas. At the counter the young man did not welcome...More

The weather is generally nice. This year we have had an unusually cold and rainy spring. There are no covered paths.

Not necessarily Each season has its unique look at VanDusen gardens; you will have plenty to see in Summer, Spring and Fall but Winter would be a little too cold for a visit there
