Close to Stanley park and in the west end it makes a lovely spot to watch the sunset on long summer evenings. You can swim but anyone who is used to good beaches wouldn't bother.

Its safer than most beach cities vancouver polices patrols every where by bicycle roller blades , they are never absent , must be their economy that has all matters coverd
