Canadians would be disgusted that I will now say that this is probably the biggest advertisement for Budweiser beer I have ever seen. Saying that though, this impressive structure certainly stands out as you drive around various parts of this lovely city. Home of the mighty Vancouver White caps, Lions and angels, it is certainly worth a visit. Sad to... More

Great stadium with good seating. We had a great two days watching the rugby. Unfortunately, like others have mentioned, the line ups for food and drinks were ridiculous! I lined up right at 11 on day 1 to grab a few beers, and waited for around and hour. The staff could definitely have been more efficient. The same person who... More

Went to the Rugby Sevens for what was an incredible event. Stadium was an excellent venue and seats were great. Long lines for concessions but hopefully they will be better prepared for next years event. Great location in the city.

What a great Stadium. Good viewing from almost all seats. Reasonable prices for most events. Good crowds for local sports teams. Most recently visited for the Rugby 7s and had a great time. Great crowd. Excellent entertainment value. Unfortunately the food and beverage service SUCKS! No alcohol served before 11 am -- probably a liquor license requirement. When they did... More

BC Place is the home of BC Lions (CFL) and Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS). Occasionally they will have concerts – Talyor Swift and ACDC performed there in 2015. The stadium has a capacity of 54,500. The whole stadium is rarely fully utilized though, only when there are massively popular events, like the crazy instant hit Canada Rugby Sevens this past weekend,... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
